The best book on the market. This KJV is an easy to use ebook, which is important to me, because I am a senior pastor of a Baptist church. I can use it easily in evangelism (explaining the Bible to others). Also, I can carry it with me and read it to others on my Kindle reader, it fits easily in my suit pocket. My eyesight is not the best, so I can increase the size the test on my Kindle reader. Best of all it is the KJV, the authorized version, the one of 95% of the True Bible, so I can depend on its accuracy, witch is very important to pastors and Christians alike. ATTENTION AMAZON: I would buy a copy of J.P Green's "Literal Translation of the Bible" if it was in ebook form. It is the best modern translation of the Bible. It is well indexed making it easy to go to a specific scripture without having to flip through tons of pages.
Every verse is fully identified - book, chapter, and verse so you know where you are all the time.
This Bible is not cross-referenced which is actually a benefit when you want to be able copy a few verses to someone else, because it is not all jumbled up with letters or numbers that cause stumbling while reading.
It's a very clean, well indexed book. I'm grateful I didn't have to spend my time to create an index for it.
I just purchased the King James Bible Touch. I have a Touch and do not have any problems using the search. I am not sure why some people were saying that it did not work. At first I was trying to use the "Go to Page or Location" to find the verse I was looking for, and maybe that is where others were having their trouble, because that is not how it is done.
For looking up a specific verse here is what I did
I tapped the top of the page to bring up the search bar. Then tapped where it says "tap to search" and typed in joh3.16 (no spaces) and it pulled up the results. The results gave the first few words of the verse. Tapped that and it took me to the passage. It is not as easy as having the real Bible in my hands, it takes more time, but it does work. If this is too much trouble you could just get to your chosen passage using the Table of Contents.
For looking up a specific word it works the same way
Tap the top of the page, tap where it says "tap to search" and type in chosen word. I chose "whale." Four verses pulled up in the resuls. Then I tapped on the chosen verse and it took me to that passage.

I like the menu and how quickly I can get to the chapter and verse. I also like that it does not require you to have web access while using it. Once downloaded it is ready to go.
I am glad that this book for Kendall was only $.99. It really needs to be reformatted to work with the text to voice part of the app. Every single verse it tells you what book of the Bible what chapter and what verse it is. When I'm trying to listen to God's word while I'm falling asleep, this does not work very well. I hope those who are using it in other ways like it more than I do. If it had been more expensive, I would be asking for my money back. As it stands, it will get used occasionally, so I don't mind hanging onto it.
I really, really love this KJB for . The navigation is superior to all others I have used before. Just one tap on any underlined verse "address" will take you to the navigation pages. Tap the book, then chapter, then you tap 10, 20, 30, ect to get close to the verse you want. No abbreviations to have to remember and no having to switch between ABC/123 to type in the reference. The only drawback is sometimes you accidentally hit the wrong one because the navigation links are close to each other. I would not recommend this for someone with large fingers unless you use a stylus. I have a vision impaired friend that really enjoys it too.
I really like this Bible. Super easy to use, very nice format. I am pleasantly surprised that it is so nice for 99 cents.
Still feels wrong using my kindle during church though.
I've tried several versions of the KIng James for my and find the ability to navigate has greatly improved. Still there are some issues though. I have a Paperwhite with touch screen which I like very much. However with this Bible version there seem to be some problems. I can easily navigate to the book I want and at the beginning of each book the chapters are presented as well as the ability to skip to some verses. That's great, and as long as I'm reading forward things work fine. Problem is if I want to go back a page. When I do that instead of it returning to the previous page it goes back to the list of chapters and if I try to tap the top of the screen to use the back arrow, it goes back to the list of books. Eventually I can get it to do what I want but it's not easy. Interestingly this is not a problem when I'm reading on my phone where the navigation works fine.
